I listened to a lot of you and got rid of my coral plants. Got an anubis attached to a rock, a potted sword, a nitrate moss ball, duckweed (came with the sword and two snails hitched a ride). I also got a 10W heater.
Hoping this is more homey for him. I also got some mopani wood that I'm currently let sit in hot water.
I hope this is better guys. I'll get that 10 gallon in a month or so.
My Alkalinity is at 40, and my total hardness is at 25, my ph is at 6.8. No nitrates or nitrites yet
