He was completely fine yesterday and today I went to feed him like normal and his eye was all big and wonky! I did a water check and everything is fine. The tank is a little cool right now at 75°F because I live in an old house with drafts, he does have a heater and a filter. He is in a 10 gallon planted aquarium with some bladder snails and two mystery snails. He is about a year and a half old.
He ate all his food like normal and has been making bubble nests and exploring his tank like normal.
I just don't know what caused this and I am to leave tomorrow for a week long trip a few states away. My mom will be caring for him while I am gone.
