Been a few days now where betta spends entire days and nights laying at bottom of tank. Had him for about a year. Water parameters are more or less perfect. Only things ive done recently was a water change, & introducing new floater plants/snail population that snuck in with them. Not his usual spot, he just happened to have come out before sinking and landing on the moss. He does seem inflated like if Ive been doing heavy feeding but he hasnt been eating much if at all (no longer comes up to feed when I come up to tank like usual) The most movement Ill get out of him is when he moves a bit before sinking back to the bottom. Snagged a photo of him fully extended in the water before sinking back down as well. Ive heard oxygen lvls could also be a factor, if floaters are not allowing proper circulation etc..

Dont know how uptight this server/mods are with deletin posts/rules like the bot said, but Ill do it just in case. Water parameters are basically perfect, zeros across the board for nitrite, ammonia, almost nonexistent nitrate. Ph of 8.2 & higher gh/kh lvls all naturally occurring, like this in all my tanks/tap water never been an issue. Internal Sponge filter & heater. Planted tank, shrimp & snail tankmates, 10 gallon, temp of 79/80
