I don’t have a biosubstrate but it’s a heavily naturally planted tank (that I really just added to & finished, lol don’t judge getting fertilizer tomorrow) all of my plants take from the water column.

Had both tank & fish a little over a month

I take out 25-30% of the water & exchange it w/ conditioned tap water weekly (every 7 days).

He had 5 shrimp for about a week & killed them all 😭🤷🏽♂️

Feeding “Hikari – Betta BioGold pellets” & occasionally freeze dried blood worms (rehydrated)
