Got this fish as a super tiny fry labeled Baby Girl betta. She has a prominent egg spot: bright white, protruding round bump, centered between ventral fins. But her fins are getting so long, I’m curious if she’s actually a male. I think she’s about 7 ish months old now. I have not seen evidence of bubble nests. Thanks for any help! Also, what type is she/he ? (Half moon delta, Cambodian, what are the iridescent scales called? Etc). Thanks!

Male
I really want to say male because like you said, the fins are very long and to my eye the body shape looks masculine too. But there have been tricky cases before, like [this long-finned betta who has clearly visible ovaries, see pic 3](https://www.reddit.com/r/bettafish/s/e6JTPrWzhc). Your fish’s coloring makes it a bit harder to visualize, even if pic 4 looks like there may be something there, so I think you can conclude male unless proven otherwise. Egg spots are notoriously unreliable, and so is bubble nesting behavior
I want to say that’s a male because of the beautiful long fins
