Hi guys! I’m a new betta owner and I did do a decent amount of research before I got him! Just looking for advice /tips on his tank!! I do plan on upgrading the size down the line when I have some extra money, so please be kind about that. I had a 10 gal and he seemed really stressed so we moved him to my 3.7 gal and he seems a lot happier so I’m going to make this work for the time being! Thank you:))

Oddly, I have read here some bettas moving from a small tank to a large tank and being unhappy lol like, what do you mean you don’t like a mansion?! 😭🤣
Your little buddy looks happy! Maybe he would be cozier with a 5 gallon once you upgrade if he wasnt happy with the 10 gallon? Or stuff the 10 gallon with plants and a few dragonstones to make “smaller” in a sense. Idk what some bettas are thinking but i just adore how they have different likes, quirks, and personalities 🥰
