Betta Fish: New betta owner. Any suggestions pls

Hiii! I’ve never had betta fish before and recently got my first one after a few months of research. She is a female, though I don’t know what type, and this is the tank where she is currently living (along with a Nerite snail).
It’s a 30 lt tank (8 gallon) with only live plants and a heater. She seems quite happy but I was wondering if there is anything I can do to improve her life, any suggestion is more than welcome 🙏🏻
Also I was wondering if I am feeding her too much, she gets five/six pellets a day with one day fasting and sometimes she gets brine shrimp instead of pellets.
