I only feed him 2 times a day 2 pellets in the day and 2 at night this is not his permanent tank this is just a tank so I can get a closer look at him and yes I will be changing his tank water this is not how he lives it’s just to closely monitor him is he okay and what can I do or give to help him I don’t want to loose him

  2. He has dropsy; or massive organ failure. It’s rare to recover from.

    Start treating with Epsom salts asap. The sooner treatment starts the better chance you have.

  3. This is called dropsy, and it’s more of a symptom rather than a disease. It’s usually indicitive of organ failure, and extremely difficult to treat. And even in the event of a successful treatment, I’ve heard that it always comes back.

    The humane thing to do is to euthanize, I’m so sorry.
