Guys this is my 2nd year into fishing so all I’ve been using so far is ultra budget stuff as i learned as in now i own

6”6’ graphite Light Spinning combo that has a better feel to it than all the previous combos ive bought.
Thats why i was looking for more of that brand cause the feel really stands out from the other combos owe
i bet that with what I’ve spent getting those cheaper combos i could have bought one really quality good combo but as I said im learning and still there’s so much regarding gear and accessories on what is better compared to what I own and i just want to go out have fun and catch some fish without having to sale a kidney to get a good quality combo lol
Either way what should be looking next??
More pricey quality combos?

Hard to recommend gear when we don’t know what bodies of water you’re fishing, what your target species are etc. certain gear also lends itself to certain styles or techniques of fishing.
For me I have a good rod and reel. Nothing crazy. Maybe $150. I still have my ugly stick gx2 as a backup. Those are my bass rods. I bought another rod this year, but it’s for ultra light fishing for when I go up north for trout. That’s all you need. Spend your time learning and gaining experience..not your money
