Today I noticed some strands sticking out in front of my Betta's dorsal fins? Pic 1 is him now and pic 2 is back when I got him. Back when I got him he didn't have those strands. All of the edges of his fins and tail seem fine and he's very active (so active I had a hard time capturing a clearer picture of him so sorry for the blurry pic 1)
(Out of context but now seeing the comparison I just realized how deeper and broader his blue patches had become lol. I hard Bettas become for colourful when they're happy?)

* **How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?**: Had the tank for 1 year++. Had the fish for like 2 months.
* **How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?**: Once every 10 days, took out like 15% each time, using a siphon pump (to clean the substrate at the same time)
* **Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each**: Dunno how many bladder snails and pond snails, 2 ramshorn snails, 3 otocinclus catfish
* **What do you feed and how much**: 5 pellets everyday, occasionally mosquito larvae
* **Decorations and plants in the tank**: Dunno the names of the ranks other than they worked well for months in my other tanks. Some floating plants.
