My Betta is (as pictured) has white on his side and speckles on the other, he never looked like this and im worried about him because I've had him a while and I don't want anything bad to happen.

It might have an Ich infection or if the spots look fuzzy a fungal infection. If the spots look like the bettas scales themselves are losing color it could be aging (if Betta is over 3 years old)
