I bought this big piece of spider wood with lots of roots coming off of it and I’m just wondering what the chances are it’s cuts my bettas fins? He’s in a 20 gallon long currently with 5 Cory’s, I want to add more fish hence the spider wood (for coverage) but am now not sure if I should move the betta to a 10 gallon instead all together

Oh also the tank the wood is in is not the tank the bettas in I’m just letting it become water logged there 👍🏻
If there are any sharp edges, you could try sanding it down a bit. Would recommend boiling it after that
