Caught this nice fish in a 4ft creek behind my house
I think it’s a steelhead trout??? It fell off my barbless hook sorry it’s muddy, I will use net next time. This is in California, and it’s my 5th trout ever! I will make my hands more wet next time too.

Lol don’t worry about it man things happen, you’ll always get comments from jealous old-heads correcting you in one way or another. Especially when it comes to fishing, I swear fishing pages are plagued by some of the most unintelligent jerks I’ve ever seen. Sounds like you already know the “rules”.
That being said, this post *does* violate rules #2 and #5.
