I am new to carp fishing in NJ, and was wondering if something like what I have above would work okay for common carp, or any other fish lol. I would appreciate any advice to adjust my rig, as I do not know what type of weight to use. Any advice or tips is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Weight style doesn’t really matter as long as it isn’t cinch on.
I use Texas Rig sinkers (bullet sinkers?) to great effect
