Bought a betta fish today, does he have fin rot? I thought that the end part of his fin looks a bit weird and crumpled up
I just gave him a salt bath, what else can I do?

Koi fins can be partially see through, especially when young. Mine is about 6-8 months and part of tail still has no colour- might stay like that
Looks fine to me, maybe just clamping but he should be good in a few days once he settles in. My galaxy koi Tidus has similar looking fins i think for reference

Also in my experience, they are a bit squeezed at first when cautious, but when relaxed- the fin will be more open in few weeks.
Doesn’t look like fin rot to me. Looks like the fins are just a little clamped, which isn’t unusual when you’ve just introduced them to a tank.
