All the various sizes of Orvis chest packs have this loop on the bottom of the back side. It seems a bit wide for a zinger, their packs all have the tippet dock on the front, so no need for that.

Don’t know, but I have heard that the small pocket on a pair of jeans is for keeping a small photo of Tom Rosenbauer.
