hello, i’m fairly new to bettas. i have a 5 gallon tank with a half moon in it. i’ve treated him with fin rot medication and he seems to be getting a little better (pictures are a little old). he’s still swimming fine and acting like he was before his tail started to look ripped. i’m mostly confused because he is still making bubble nests in the tank. any advice would be greatly appreciated

does he have any tank mates? what are the parameters?
I’m no expert, but it looks like it could be clamped fins. They’ll often get these from poor water quality. What is your water temperature? Did you cycle your tank before you put him in it? What’s your nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia levels?
Do you… have a filter?
