I know overhang is not considered safe but I messed up and didn’t measure the dimensions correctly. The tank (5G) is almost exactly the same size as the table. Would this amount of overhang be a problem? The corners themselves look to be essentially on the table but the bottom rim is overhanging a bit.

I think it will be ok. 5 gallons doesn’t weigh a lot, plus the overhang is SO slight that I doubt it makes any difference.
I’ve definitely done this before with small tanks with no issue. It’s not the best practice but I think it should be fine. You could get a piece of wood that’s slightly bigger than the top of the table and set the tank on top if you’re worried.
