Just got this betta about 1 week and half ago out of pet smart put her in a 10 gallon that’s been cycled planted and overall just the perfect paradise for a betta. I’m not sure how it happened but i feel like in my head im not convinced its ick i left for an over night trip to her being normal and now with these spots.

Def ick unfortunately…Try gradually increase the aquarium temperature to around 86F/30C (ick can’t survive temps that high) and either get some ick medication (remove your carbon filter if you use this) or use some aquarium salt. It’s not necessarily a death sentence for the tank/fish if you treat it or if you don’t, but it def is higher chance of you don’t treat it.
Ick is such a common disease and easy to treat. Do not panic 😌
