This is a 6 gallon cube tank, I plan on getting 1 mystery snail and some shrimps for it. It's been cycling for 3 wks (4 wks on Friday). Currently the only thing besides the plants is some bladder snails who hitched a ride, which im leaving alone for now since im not providing them with food except for whatever algae and biofilm is in there. Friendly advice appreciated! Parameters are on the last photo.

the java fern (the plant planted in middle of the statue and wood) will rot if you plant the rhizome, it likes to be attached to a hardscape like how your anabas is attached to wood đ
A few things, you used aquasoil, which isn’t really compatible with snails or shrimp. Aquasoil buffers to a low pH (which is why yours is at 6.0) and absorbs KH (a set of minerals that’s necessary to build and keep shells on snails and some shrimp species like neocaridina.) Aquasoil also releases a lot of ammonia for the first month or two (which is why you have high ammonia still after 3 weeks). You need to wait for the ammonia to drop and then you can consider a few species of shrimp like crystal red, tiger or other hardy caridina mix. You should not put neocaridina in this tank. Also, you need to be measuring your GH and KH to keep shrimp. The levels needed depends on the species.
