Newbie here! Bought my first ever aquarium the other day, currently running a fishless cycle. It is day three, and I just noticed this morning that something has started to grow on the main decorative root. Should I be worried? I’m cycling the tank with fish food and plants. Thank you in advance for you help!

Biofilm. Completely normal in new tanks. A couple shrimp will hoover that up no problem.
Can take 3-5 weeks and will get worse so no panic
