I've had this betta for 2 weeks now. I have a 10g tank and currently I'm keeping him with 4 cardinal tetras. Earlier there was no problem but I've been noticing that the tetras(especially one) are constantly nipping his fins. He is eating fine and swimming but tends to chase the tetras sometimes.
How would I know he's stressed?
I would be adding 4 more cardinals and 3 corys in this tank. I tried adding hornworts and frogbits for cover but they're just recently added and would take time to adjust.
How do I stop the fin nipping?
I've already spent too much on the tetras and they're arriving by courier so it would be very difficult for me to return them.

There’s not really a way to stop fin nipping other than separating them
