Hi! Im building a 3ft river bed style freshwater scape that will be quite heavily planted, I had my eyes on the Fluval 3.0 because of the sunset/night modes and routines, the app control and the seemingly positive reviews.
However, it is somewhat pricey and before I bought one I figured I might reach out in case you guys know of any alternatives?
For context this light is approx $359 AUD

probably not the answer you were looking for but i have stopped using aquarium lights and just use the sunlight by placing the tanks near the window. doesn’t increase the energy bill, actual sunset/night modes, and all of my fishes basking in the sunlight. also my plants too.
Maybe Chihiros?
This is the one I’m planning on getting for my upcoming tank.

I have a pair of them on my 55-gallon rig and the plants love it. They grow bat shit crazy. I literally have to cut back and thin out my wisteria at least once a month.
