Okay genuine question… cap or no cap w/ Fluval Stratum????? All my research is leading me real neutral. Where some people recommend, other people don’t recommend & some people say 🤷🏽♂️ you’ll be fine regardless. All for various reasons or to put the fluval in mesh bags before capping. Hell ppl have shown examples of everything working out with and without capping. Help me out!

Well stratum will leach into the water for a while, so I do a sand cap so it doesn’t leach for a couple months
You’re completely right: it’s neutral. Some people cap their stratum with sand, others don’t. I have uncapped stratum in my tank and everything’s completely fine. I truly don’t think it matters that much. It’s up to you.
Cap it with sand 💯
No cap for me, but you can really do it either way
