This is my new betta fish, I’m not sure what strain and the color type is…I’m just a newbie xd. Planning to buy a small filter soon. Do you guys have tips on how to maintain the beauty of this fish? Planning to buy a 10gal tank also will that be okay if I’ll get a giant betta and introduce it to a community?

yes, get the filter and a heater. it’s good you’re getting a 10 gallon as that tank looks a little small, but since he is a long fin betta make sure he has plenty of resting spots near the surface of the water. other than that i’d add some more plants. my bettas do well in community tanks, but they have really chill temperaments. put some shrimp in to see if he’ll leave them alone and if he does you can try the community thank
For the filter – get a sponge one, they’ve got a gentle flow. Awesome to hear that you are planning for an upgrade as well 🙂
I’d also (plant-wise) get some botanicals to have on hand – they beneficial to bettas and give the water a nice darker colouring.
