Close, but not quite. Put a leather glove on and respool. You want that braid pretty tight on the spool. The main reason for this is when you get a fighter the braid will sink into the loose braid and bind. Potentially causing you to loose your next fish from a bound line increasing drag pressure substantially.

What lb line is this? And what do you plan on catching? Looks way overkill for 90% of applications
