I’ve had my betta for over a year now in a community 10g. Never had any issues till I saw this spot on its back a couple weeks ago. It now looks like this, is that hairs growing on it?🤢 anybody know what it is and if its dangerous to the betta, please let me know. Thank you.

Um. He’s supposed to have a fin there. Has it gone completely? It’s either been torn off or rotted & is now growing a huge fungal infection.
You need to treat with antibiotics in a *separate* hospital tank until it has healed completely.
