I've had my first betta for almost two years now. About 9 months after I got her (?) she got a small scale sized white bump on her side that has since evolved into two large tumors. She's been fine with it for a long time, moving, eating and functioning normally. She recently starting declining more, still eating but not moving well and I noticed she looks pineconey today đ I adore her but I feel like I should start considering euthanizing her but have no idea how to do it humanely or if I should give her more time

unfortunately i think yes đ
Yes, if she isnât doing good just help her. Itâs easier for everyone
How did you let it get to that state? This is a fungus that could be treated with coarse salt
Yes and I don’t say that lightly. The tumors are massive and hes already pinconing. It would save him from suffering anymore. Just know that you did everything you could for him. I’ve honestly never seen a betta that lived with tumors that big before. But hes in serious pain I’m sure.
Take him to the carnival first. Heâll really enjoy it
I agree that euthanasia is most humane. Please source clove oil and research method. It is very gentle… first dose puts your fish to sleep and then you administer a fatal dose.
Oy… Yes it’s time to let her go. I’m so sorry.
I would consider it if she doesn’t pass away on her own soon
Yes, all the signs are there that it’s time. I had a similar experience when my little fellow stopped being himself and eating normally, I knew it was time.
Iâm so sorry, but it is time. Sheâs pineconing and those tumors are probably painful for her; theyâre large enough to impact her organ function.
