So I found this 80 gal aquarium on marketplace and the owner just wanted it gone. I picked up the next day after speaking with the owner and somehow managed to get it setup in my house by myself. The wife doesn’t normally venture into the “fish room” 20 gal long, 55 gal planted, 10 gal terrarium(feed stock for chameleon), 2-4x2x2’ screened enclosure(one just has plants/ young fruit trees, no inhabitants the other has a juvenile chameleon) so she didn’t notice until days later. I expected a reaction but she was not happy at all and even went so far as to say she wanted a divorce. She cooled down a lot after I told her I was stocking it with fish(she was thinking snake or reptiles). Anyways I’m happy it worked out because it’s well on its way now after about 10 hours of cleaning and painting. Still needs some TLC on the front glass but I expected it to be fairly nice for free! The light is on temporary 2x6s it will be suspended from the roof. I’ll post updates after I stock it in a couple weeks.

Don’t show her this post, it might escalate from almost to… I would be dead meat if I infringed on his half of the fish/comics room(no worries about humidity hurting his comics).
My favorite oddballs are my Blue Neon Gobies. They’re in my unheated tank that sits around 73°. They are escape artists, but thankfully, mine have stuck around. They also have goofy looking grins that make me smile every day.
