First picture is when I received him, second is when I noticed some tearing(?), third is current.
Hello! Just wanted to check and see if there’s anything I can do to help my boy.
I’ve posted before about how I received him from someone else, and I had no prior experience with betta fish. I’ve been doing my best, switched him from an only dried bloodworm diet to omega one pellets 1-2 times a day and occasionally frozen brine worms. nothing about his tank has been changed since I received him, but for some reason over the past couple months his fins seem to be ripping?
The person who owned him before me had him for almost a year with the same items in his tank and his fins looked great. From what I know of fin rot, this doesn’t seem to be the case but I’m unsure. He does have a small ceramic structure at the bottom of his tank that he likes to hang out in, could it be that? Once again I’m unsure but I’d appreciate any and all advice.
His name is Golb by the way.

Nipping, if your water parameters are good then there’s really nothing much you can do other than provide him some enrichment
It definitely looks like finrot. Id recommend kanaplex, almond leafs (not a cure but will strengthen his immune system) and Epsom bath if you don’t see the kanaplex working by itself.
Looks like you got the right answers already but I have to compliment you on your photography skills. Great shots! Ery beautiful boy
