Anyone here use or have experience with the Eskimo scout ice fishing pants? Most years I’ve just worn like Carhartt bibs, but starting to think something with the float technology would be better. Don’t really want a pair of float bibs,so wondering if these are any good.

I wear bibs, and would recommend unless you are further south where temps are quite mild. Keeps tge wind from crawling up your back.

I live in saskatchewan and fish in bibs with hoodie under 80 percent of the time(couldnt do thatnwith these pants indone think as the wind would get under hoodie roo much. . If its really cold toss a boat on.

I have eskimo roughneck bibs, and although I love them, they have been ro the seamstress 3 times in 3 seasons (all issue in the crotch). I expect the issue is the same as with everything, all stuff is made like trash now.

As an aside I also uses to wear carhartts, moving to ice fishing pants that are waterproof is very worth while.
