My sons and I designed this small handmade resin glide and have been obsessively refining it over the past year. We built it for targeting smallmouth in the upper Midwest, but it's a helluva good trout lure. We use tungsten for a ballast, which helps it perform really well in slow to moderate current.
We just started selling them about a month ago and have been pleasantly surprised at how many we've sold thus far! There's one left for preorder on our site chompswimbaits.com. Check it out if ya have a moment, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Each lure is made by hand out of solid urethane resin it takes quite a bit of time to craft each one. We hand-tune them too to ensure each one has the proper action right out of the box. We also use premium hardware, including Owner ST-36 hooks (which can easily be swapped out for barbless single hooks for trout), with VMC swivel hook hangers and split rings.
One quick note on the brown, we were fishing in a stream known for smallmouth, which is why I didn't swap the trebles out for single barbless hooks. This fella was an unexpected but welcome surprise!

Do browns taste the same as rainbows? What about the taste of stocked vs wild caught?
