Oh yeah they 100% are I have a tank that only has 7 male guppies, with other breeds, but the guppies are only males and they school together with my purple emperor tetras, the ember red tetras, green Rasbora, even the Pygmy guppies so funny to see!

There are wild-type guppies in my local stream, and you can often see many swimming together
