Why are all these boats here?

  1. Depending on where you’re at some trapping seasons are only a few days long and in certain areas. Or there are bounties on certain game in that area because they are a nuisance. Hard telling without more details.

  2. My brother lives in a town that lets people keep their boats on the side of the lake like that so long as they have a permit.

  3. I’d say it’s a resort on a lake that freezes. Piers are out, 9.5hp motors are stored, boats are flipped. Getting ready to plow some snow.

  4. In NY, reservoirs maintained by the state permit fishing from boat but only on boats that are regularly cleaned chemically by the state and the boats aren’t allowed to be used on any body of water that isn’t regulated by the state’s reservoir system so people have to keep their boats chained to a tree on the bank.

Campground right there? A lot of seasonal campers leave their boats near the lake and the campers in the campground and go elsewhere for the winter.

  6. If this is on some sort of reservoir thats used for drinking water then the boats have to be steamed / sterilized before being used in the water for fishing. They’re usually required to leave them there to not bring in contaminants from other lakes and such otherwise they have to sterilize it again. They do this in NY from my experience, not sure if anywhere else does it.

  7. Core memory unlocked: The wind blew so strong I couldn’t row back to where I rented my boat from after fishing. I just got to shore and walk back. I later let the renting office know where they could find it šŸ˜‚
