I got him last Saturday so I’m thinking maybe he’s just getting used to the tank still?
I’ve tried doing everything I can to adjust the lights so the reflection isn’t bad but nothing is working.
I just want him to be able to just chill and explore his tank. Instead he’s just at the front all the time especially in the day time.
tank is 10g
water is fine I tested it
Temp is at 80-81

Do you have a background on your tank? That can help w the glare
even if it is a glare over time he will get used to it and kinda recognize it as himself, dont worry at all, alot of bettas go through this because they are territorial and hate other betas and also kept in cups so they have never really seen their reflection before, he should def stop around a week or so i have gone through this phase with majority of my bettas. tankmates also help
