First timer!! Cycling and planting this 10g tank.

Right now I just have a little Anacharis (back left), Java Fern on driftwood, schismaglottis (front right), and alternanthera (mainly front left, but some stems broke off so they’re scattered around – two in the back). I’m thinking adding more Anacharis on that left side for sure, just want to know for the rest.

I have a suction cup mushroom resting spot on the way, and some stones I can anchor other plants to if need be (although I think the driftwood can house a few more).

I wanted a floater, but the guy at the shop didn’t have water lettuce (and said it would be too big?), and I have an unfounded aversion to duckweed.

I think some crypts would look really nice in the mid ground and they come in some really fun textures and colors. You said you were getting some more of your stem plant and don’t be afraid to cut them and replant until they’re dense enough to let grow tall again! This also helps them suck excess nitrates out of the tank which is another good reason I do it. More plants is always the answer 😂 bucephalandra and anubias nana would be so nice planted on the wood hard scape!
