Have had betta fish for 6 months now no issues . Came back home after a 6 week trip in Europe. Left with family and she now looks like this . Did a water change last week and for now readings are as follows : High range PH 7.4 , Ammonia between 0-0.25 , Nitrite 0 and Nitrate slightly above 0 but not 5.0ppm. Should I start her on a general antibacterial?

I’m OP here’s More information :
Tank size: 180L
Heater and filter? (yes/no): Yes .filter is running, heater intact and running
Tank temperature: 30 degrees
Parameters in numbers and how you got them:
Tested with API Freshwater Master Kit:
• pH: 7.4
• Ammonia: between 0 – 0.25 ppm
• Nitrite: 0 ppm
• Nitrate: ~2 ppm
How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?:
Tank: ~ 6months
Fish (Fhineas): ~5 months
How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?:
Recently: water changes every 1–2 weeks (used to be frequent after issues)
• Last major change was 90%
• Process: Siphoning out water, topping up with treated water using API conditioner, Stress Zyme, Ammo Lock; Quick start
• Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each: None just Fhineas ( the sick fish )
• What do you feed and how much:
Twice every second day
• Decorations and plants in the tank: fake plants
Do you know what the care looked like while you were gone. Like how often they changed water and fed? 😔 I’m sorry this happened.
So reading up on the information:
1. Do not do massive water changes. That can cause a sudden drop or spike in some parameters which can and sometimes will stress out the fish. Do about 10% or less unless there is a reason to do more (IE Medications in water etc)
2. No need to keep adding quick start or the other stuff. Just use conditioner when readding water.
3. Feed more. Feed that fish WAY more. 5ish pellets twice a day or do what I do and 8-10 pellets once a day. That fish is starving and dangerously thin.
4. It’s a boy. Congrats.
Do water changes once a week. Add real plants or floaters. Having some nitrates are normal.
