ive gone fishing in this pond before and caught nothing, theres a crap ton of tree logs all through out the pond, its also surrounded by litter, if anyone has gone fishing here before, what were you fishing for and what did you catch and when. this pond is in johnson park collierville TN, its about a 1000 ft across acording to google maps. closer to sunset, i also hear and see fish jumping all the time, any knowledge about what kind of fish they are?

Wow finally a screenshot I immediately recognized on reddit. There’s decent bass in that pond I havent caught anything over about 2lbs. Seen some guys pull in maybe 5-7lb channel cats but that pond gets a ton of bullshit. To the north you can walk a ways down the trail then follow the water down a ways to get to a great gar and catfishing spot. Catch some bluegill and cut them up on a Carolina rig. Just be careful the water level changes a lot after a rain.
