Betta Fish: Can u differentiate gender at 5 weeks old?
I see a little bit of a blue coloring… and her mom was bright red while her dad was red+blue,, do u think the blue coloring could say shes going to be a he? 😭

The color of a betta does not determine the gender, males are typically more brightly colored but red vs blue won’t indicate anything. Based on the shape (round belly) and fin length this looks like a female.
Are you sure this is five weeks old? A five week old betta fry is tiny and this one looks older than that by a lot.
