I’m not totally sure what type of betta he is but he’s definitely got some feather tail in him so I know it looks like he’s got fin rot in this video but other than the rip his tail is fine. His tail has never ripped before in the month I’ve had him. All the plants are live except for the hammocks which are silk. There’s no driftwood and the rocks are rounded. He seems to be such a good swimmer so I’m not sure if he would’ve done this to himself? How do I heal it? He’s always got almond leaves in his tank so there’s already tannins

pretty low, 79 degrees F with a heater and filter, I use the api kit and all my parameters havnt changed in months (tank has been set up since January and had my female in it before I upgraded her to have more room) my ph is 8.3 ammonia is 0 nitrites are 0 and nitrates are 10. I’ve had this fish for about a month. I top ip the tank on Wednesday and change the water probably 30% on Saturday + siphon the gravel. Just a few adult ramshorn snails in here I think 3. I feed him 3 fluval bug bites morning and 3 at night. On Friday he gets bloodworms and Monday mysis shrimp. On Sunday he fasts. Tank is live planted with water wisteria and Java ferns. I’ve got pothos and monstera roots and stems too with the leaves out of the water. The hammocks are all silk. One terracotta pot and a couple of rocks. I removed some driftwood before I got him because I was worried it would be too sharp
