I got a new betta and I’ve been trying to feed him for the past couple days. I’ve tried giving him tiny pellets and lunges at them on the surface of the water but never ends up eating them. I tried flakes and he ended up holding one in his mouth but then spitting it out. I’m not sure what to do but he’s now gone a couple days without eating so I am getting worried. My temperature is at 25 deg C and my ammonia is at 0 ppm and all my other parameters seem fine.

Def get live food annoying bur bettas are picky as hell or get bug bites
Blood worms are great for bettas. Try them.
So not eating can be a slew of issues.
A new environment can cause stress, leading them to refuse food. They can last a while without food, so that I won’t sweat it.
However, getting the water and temp will definitely make him want to eat sooner or later. It seems you got this down.
Bettas like bloodworms and baby/non-baby krill. Often found in the frozen section of pet food for fish. Please give him a 1/4 or less of the block (usually they come in gum-size ice cubes). I haven’t had a betta pass up on that, but this shouldn’t be the only food source; it should be a food buffer to find food your betta likes.
If there is no bloating, clear inflammation, pine coneing, or issues that look like he’s struggling to exist. I think that treat bribing may have some benefits. If you end up getting freeze dried please make sure to rehydrate it before giving it to him as it could cause bloating or other issues.
I have had multiple betta fish that refused to eat any dry foods at all. I second frozen bloodworms.
