My betta I got from a pet store (on the brink of the death) on November 25th he’s in 5 gallon tank with Anubis plants. I change 25-30% of water daily right now. They changed his water in the pet store without acclimating him and I believe it shocked him. He’s been on the bottom of the tank unable to swim up, only darting across the bottom. I tried to feed him a boiled pea to help with swim bladder and I also added some tannins to the water but I’ve seen no improvement. Please help me with what else I can do to save him

  1. Gonna ask a few clarifying questions: Why are you changing so much of his water every day? Was your tank cycled prior to you putting him in the tank? Has he been like this since you brought him home? Was he acting “normal” in the store?

Also, hard to tell from one photo but his gills look very red. What are your water parameters?
