Betta Fish: My memorial to a special guy

My partner has been heartbroken since her betta Mister Rogers passed away earlier this year, to the point she says she never wants another because he was so special (and I absolutely understand that). To make a memorial of him, I had a 3Dartist friend of mine make a model in Blendr that was as close to his likeness as we could manage. I used my 3d printer to make a physical version of that model, and spent lots of time looking at photos and videos of Mister, and blending paint to approximate his colors and patterns. I used a pice of driftwood as a base, and made a stand from a bicycle spoke. This is my first time doing anything like this, and i am really happy with the result. Now he can live on her desk forever 🥰
