What vegetation should I add? I was thinking either dwarf hair grass or dwarf four-leaf clover in the foreground.
Gotta get some more tall plants to add to the background too.

Just take your time it’ll be great! Fish do like the taller plants anything should do pretty much

I always start with a black background. If you’re not going to do co2, you’ll have more luck with the marsilea than hair grass. I put red tiger lotus or dwarf water lily in all of my tanks but one. They add shape color without co2 or intense light. Corkscrew val in back will add texture and that wood is perfect for some smaller epiphytes. It’s got a brontosaurus vibe. Don’t forget floating plants. Frogbit is a favorite.
