Betta Fish: Will I regret adding these “hiding rocks”
Getting a new tank set-up and I had picked these up but they are pretty rough on the edges and inside and even if I sand that down should I add these or just put more plants in?

It’s really going to depend on your fish. Personally, I’ve found that my last bettas didn’t really care for hides on the ground, so those would have been useless in my tank.

My boy hides in his for a bit after a water change. Otherwise doesn’t use it much.

Just so you know, that white ribbon plant you have is semi-aquatic and isn’t meant to be fully submerged.
You have to be careful at stores like PetCo and PetSmart because they will put terrarium plants with the aquarium plants. Check the package to make sure it’s aquatic and not semi-aquatic.

My betta likes his hidey holes.
