saw a fish at the zoo yesterday with HUGE lips. I was wondering if anyone knows what could’ve cause this? poor thing 🙁

These fish fight each other with their mouths. These fights can cause injuries and then lead to complications, especially if the tank isn’t particularly well maintained. That would be my guess. Some sort of infection, fungus, or tumor from trauma.

Kind of looks like one of my rams when I poured RO too quickly into the tank. Tho it was never anywhere near this extreme

Could be a tumor from trauma, or damage from fungal infection? I have never seen that on a labidochromus c.
