Went out bass fishing around Pittsburgh today even though it was sitting right around 31°F when I hit the water. Cold, cloudy, and the wind all over the place, but the smallmouth bass were still active.
Ended up landing two smallmouth bass — one 14-inch and one 16-inch. Both of them fought way harder than I expected for how cold the water was. Turned into a surprisingly good session.
Anyone else around Pittsburgh getting smallmouth in this weather?
