Hello everyone, I urgently need your help. My angelfish haven't eaten anything for the last few days and have hardly moved from one spot, and I've been wondering why. I did a small water change 5 days ago. The water values were good every day. Just now, I was sitting next to the aquarium and wondering why it was so quiet… I forgot to turn the oxygen back on… I don't know how I could be so stupid and not notice for so long, even though I check on them every day. Now I have the following problem: Both fish have developed “thicker” bellies. I think it's dropsy, but I'm not sure. I have no experience with fish in terms of diseases/medications or salts. Can someone please help me? I love these two and am afraid of losing them now.

I read a post a few days ago and someone said they get these short depression periods that they stop eating and are being kind of stubborn, then they go back to normal. They usually get this when switching tanks, i think yours is grumpy because you stopped his bubbles and because he got a bit cold… I think he’ll come to his senses and eat something tomorrow or the next day and then hopefully he’ll let this one slide
