It’s an Amano shrimp, unless you have salt water/brackish water set up and cycled these babies won’t make it anyway

  2. It’s near impossible for their fry to survive in freshwater (and if, by some miracle, they survived, most would still die), so you’ll be alright.

  3. Amaño shrimp need specific brackish (mix of fresh and salt water) mix for the hatchlings to develop properly.

This is a pretty hard thing to do, especially for breeders. Those babies will die eventually 🙁

What should you do… Nothing it shows you’ve got a good ecosystem going in that tank.

like the rest of the comments. I concur. Amano shrimp babies need brackish water.

Example..maybe you had cherry shrimp and they were multiplying a such, many of the babies would survive but also, much of them would be good fish food. Better than you could get in the store.

  5. Don’t people say amano shrimps don’t breed in tanks or something? Either you have a really good ecosystem or Bertha is just…special 🤣
