Good evening, guys. Here is the situation:

My betta used to eat 'Biogram Medium' pellets
without any issues. However, I decided to buy him a more specific food called 'Betta Tropical,' which is mostly flakes mixed with some dried worms.

He absolutely loves the worms, but now he is refusing both the new flakes and the old pellets he always used to eat. I tried fasting him for a day, and then for a couple more; he eventually puts a pellet or flake in his mouth, but he ends up spitting almost everything out.

I haven't given him any more worms because I’m afraid he’ll get too used to them. What should I do? I wouldn’t mind feeding him only worms, but I’ve read that isn't a healthy diet for them.

My immediate thought was to have you fast him since that’s what I had to do for one of my guys, but since you already did that, my only other recommendation is to try another pelleted food entirely. I feed fluval bug bites and have had no issues. But of course, every fish is different.
